Future house emerged in the early 2010s, gaining popularity around 2014-2015. It is often attributed to French DJ Tchami, though other artists like Oliver Heldens also contributed significantly to its development. Tchami's Confession label became a key platform for the genre. It quickly became a mainstream sound, influencing popular music and festivals.
